His monumental and expressionistic photographs are powerful reflections on contemporary society, boldly revealing the intensity and subversive spirit of an experienced, insightful, and critical artist. Rancinan has also been named an Officier des Arts et des Lettres.
Caroline Gaudriault

Caroline Gaudriault is a celebrated French author with nearly a dozen literary works, essays translated into English or Chinese, and art books to her name. Her writing provides a profound perspective that underpins her artistic approach. She often engages with contemporary thinkers, sometimes involving them in her creative process. For several years, Gaudriault has created striking calligraphic suspensions and text kakemonos for museum exhibitions, giving tangible form to her writing. She is also the author and screenwriter of several medium-length fiction films.
