• What is the difference between excours.io and the TV Channel ARTE? They also showcase a lot of arts.

― While platforms like ARTE feature arts-related content, excours.io focuses specifically on guided tours of exhibitions, offering a unique, immersive experience:

  • Guided Tours: Unlike traditional documentaries or art programs, excours.io films are primarily guided tours led by curators or artists, giving viewers an in-depth, personal look at exhibitions.
  • Permanent Access to Temporary Exhibitions: We make temporary exhibitions permanently accessible by capturing them in their most native format: as guided tours, so they can be experienced anytime, even after the exhibitions end.
  • Interactive and Educational Approach: Our content is designed not just for passive viewing but also for educational use, with features like e-learning modules, interactive content, and quizzes.
  • Inclusive Experience: We ensure accessibility by providing subtitles in multiple languages, audio descriptions for the visually impaired, and no advertisements to interrupt the viewing experience.
  • Curated for Cultural Immersion: excours.io is a platform entirely dedicated to cultural exhibitions, giving it a more focused, deeply immersive experience compared to broader platforms like ARTE that cover a wide range of topics.

In essence, excours.io offers a more interactive, focused, and personal journey into art and culture compared to other arts and culture platforms.

• Does excours.io collaborate with external filmmakers?

― Yes, alongside our own productions, we also host films made by external filmmakers, as long as they align with our mission and values.
